Guided Fly Fishing on the Flathead River and Missouri River in Montana
What you will need for your trip:
Fishing license, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, and long sleeve shirts.
Consider clothing that is suitable for the weather on the day of the trip. Guides wear quick-dry clothing and water shoes ( flip-flops ) most days. Dressing for spring or fall means warmer clothes, waders, and coats are needed to be comfortable.
Most fishing is done out of the drift boat or raft, which is the most comfortable way to fish the big rivers, along with some wade fishing. In most cases, the rivers are hard to access by foot. We provide all the gear necessary including quality boats, rods, reels, and flies. Most of the guides have some secret home brews they know will get you that Bite.
NOTE: You will need to acquire a MT fishing license for each day you fish on these trips for everybody that plans to fish.
